Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 Mini, a cheaper, smaller variant of the Galaxy S 2, which is due to be launched soon, have leaked out. Three’s entire 2011 summer line-up of smartphones was leaked, and it includes details of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 Mini.
The Samsung Galaxy S 2 Mini, while not as powerful as the Galaxy S 2, will offer superb hardware specs. It will come with a 3.7 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display and a 5 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. It also has a secondary VGA camera and will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It also comes with a 1.4 GHz processor, and will likely have 512 MB RAM. It will be launched by April, and should be priced lower than the Galaxy S 2. The hardware specs are excellent; much better compared to the current crop of Android smartphones.
The leaked details also mention the HTC Flyer launch in May and the Blackberry Playbook Wi-Fi launch in June.
The Nokia X7 will also be launched in June. It has a 4 inch display and comes with the Symbian ^3 OS and an 8 MP camera with dual LED flash.
